First of Greetings. You are now looking at my own personal mini FAQ Walkthrough (if that is what you wanna call it) of the great game

ADDICT MUD

This is the first FAQ type thing I have ever done, so I will be changing it Often!!!

There are currently 3 Hometowns you can live in as a New PC.

  1.  Adrilankha
  2.  New Thalos
  3.  Skara Brae

The directions you will find below are all from Verra's Temple, located in Adrilankha. I will be listing in this FAQ recommend tips for surving, and advancing in levels, for those of you who are new users.

First, I recommend a Client. If you dont want or have one, telnet is ok too. That is what I use.

Second, Create a new pc. I recommend a Cleric, then after you get a couple levels with your cleric, go for another pc

Thrid, set your hometown while creating your pc. I recommend Adrilankha, becasue that is where most everyone lives. It also makes it easy for some one to help you out, and show you where to go to level. It is also the starting point for the Directions provided below.

Fourth, Go out and kill. Gain a couple levels, with your Pc, try to get to level 5. The easyest way is to kill mobs in the book NEWBIE ZONE. Directions are below.

Fifth, Create a Second PC. Addictmud allows you to have as many pc's as you want, HOWEVER, you may only have 2 Logged on at one time. IF YOU LOG ON MORE THAN 2 YOU RISK HAVING YOUR ACCOUNT FROZE!!!

Sixth, Level your second PC. I again, recommemend, LEVEL 5.

Now, for the Directions. I will list a few zones, and recommended levels for those zones, and Directions to get to those zones. These are good to level 15.

Newbie Zone. Levels 1-5 From Verras temple, it is east, east, north, north, north, west, read Newbie.

Book of Oz. Levels 3-8 From Verras temple, it is east, east, north, north, north, west, read Oz.

Motie's Levels 3-10 Decent Eq Loads Here. From Verras temple, it is east, east, north, north, north, east, read Motie. In this zone, you will find your first teleporter. it requires a bit of a wait, like 20 seconds, maybe 30. to get to the rest of the zone. You also can load some DECENT eq, like the motie bag, Motie Wrist Watch, Maglight, and Motie Shield. I have been here for 2 years, and still use half of the eq from this zone.

Mob Museum Levels 10-30 From Verras temple, it is east, east, north, north, down, east, read mob. Tougher mobs. but they are okay.

These zones right here, along with mobs located in the hometown will get you to level 15. Most of the decent eq is for MINIMUM level of 15. And most any player will be willing to help you get some eq of your own, once you hit this point. I will be posting another mini FAQ for those of you 15-40, unremorted.
